Artex is delighted to share that two members from its leadership team have been featured in Captive International's first Influential Women in Captive Insurance publication. This remarkable recognition highlights some of Artex's exceptional female leadership and acknowledges the key role of women in the industry.

Jennifer Gallagher
Chief Executive Officer, North America

Jennifer Gallagher

Jennifer is a founding member of Artex Risk Solutions, and in her current role as CEO of Artex North America is responsible for all business operations across the United States, the Cayman Islands and Bermuda. Captive International reported that she originally was introduced to the captive insurance industry by her father, John P. Gallagher, who was at the forefront of Gallagher's commitment to bringing alternative risk solutions for their clients. Jennifer says, "My ambition is to do what I've always done: contribute to the continued growth of Artex, mentor the next generation, continue to invest in learning and development initiatives, and strive to find the right work-life balance for this stage of my career."

Suzanne Sadlier
Executive Vice President — Captive Management, North America

Suzanne Sadlier

Suzanne oversees all client services for North America, Bermuda and the Cayman Islands at Artex Risk Solutions, including single parent captives, cell companies, group captives, risk pooling schemes and commercial re/insurance. Captive International reported that while Suzanne was exposed to captives early on in her career, the captive insurance industry became a more dominant part of her work when she moved to the Cayman Islands in 2015 to oversee the captives industry at the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA). Suzanne says, "I am consistently motivated to enhance my knowledge and exposure to various strategies and aspects of the business world and to share what I have accumulated with colleagues and connections. Beyond that, my ambitions are set on continuous success in my current mandate as EVP in captive management to provide a solid foundation towards further broadening my position when the time is right."
